In the next few days I'll be rearanging the live rock and will remove at least some of the water. I thought this would be a good chance to remove the fake floor on the first chamber. I'm currently running the stock skimmer but I understand that if I get another skimmer it would need the extra height.

I have not seen how the floor is constructed so I don't know how to take it out. Hopefully this can be done without emptying the tank completely as I'd like to keep the tank and most corals in there while re aquascaping.

Any ideas?

thanks in advance,
Albert

Its put in by silicone on the older models. So just stick your hand in there and push. Itll pop out
