Hey guys, I just purchased a 125 gallon aquarium. It came with everything and I am very happy with it. There's only 2 things I'd like to change. First, I would like the tank to be about a foot higher than where it sits now. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to raise this stand a foot? Also I'd like to make a canopy/hood for the top of the aquarium so I can hide some LED's in there so overall its a clean look. Does anyone have some links to easy to follow DIY canopy's? Thanks... Below is a photo of the tank...

What about 2x12's the size of the bottum of your stand painted black. Lifting the stand up would make it easy to siphon out your sump if needed.

I was thinking about putting those blocks of wood you see in the bottom left of the picture following along the perimeter of the stand. But then whats the best way to cover the wood plus the 1 foot gap between the floor and stand?
