A fiend of mine is set to buy a tank and stand located in Fl and shipping it up to NJ. The total weight for the setup is approximately 500lb (on crate) and the distance is 1,100 miles. Does anyone have any freight contact or any info about how to go about it? In the past I've dealt with Conway Freight but I am not sure if they are the best when it comes to shipping aquarium.

Thanks for any help!

Probably will cost $300-$400 by van line. You might be able to get a better price by freight, but the chance of damage is much less. I use United all the time. PM me and I'll send my agents number.

Miracles had sent me my tank via ABF Freight System, INC. Thats going from Canada to South Louisiana. My tank and crate was around 600lbs. It took less than a week and the tank was delivered without any issues.
