sump build question

i am starting to assemble my sump tank its a 75 glass tank
i am going to have 4 divisions in it
#1 for the tank overflow
#2 for the refugium
#3 for the skimmer and its pump
#4 for the return pump

does all dividers need to be bubble traps or just the divider between the skimmer and the return pump areas

You realy don't need bubble traps at all if the skimmer is far enough away from the pump. But if you do want a bubble trap make it the baffle before the pump housing.

skip the drain section, and drop your drain into the skimmer section--and make the drains such that there are no bubbles coming from them. Use this added space for the return section where you need it more.
