i bought a few nice pieces the other day. the had a nice shade of what i would call golden brown. I put the corals in my tank and one turn blue.

the a few days later a couple more turn green and purple, one even turned red.

what am i doing wrong!! im new to this and i was hoping someone with experience could help me.

i mean the corals just dont look natural like they did in the fish store, its almost like that are now painted with magic marker

sounds like you have different lights than what was in the store?

With 413 posts I assume there is some intended humor here? It's odd, I have the opposite problems, mine all turned from the bright colors to brown, except they now have this really cool bone white base. Good news is that the bone white is spreading so hopefully I can have them all look like ivory in the tank! :)

+1 to mtaswt

It's likely you just have different lighting than the LFS, and for that matter, I'd say you got a great deal for blue, red, purple and green corals.

DO you have any pictures?

I hope you being sarcastic. You should know this by now.
