View Full Version : Serpent seastar : Comment or experience ?

I really like seastar. But lot of them are not good for reef tank.
I found that the serpent star seem to be the best starfish for reef.
Could you suggest me other species or give me comments.

Red Serpents, and Tiger Serpents are my personal favorites, There is a Red Serpent in my tank.Its 6 inches in my best guess...I have Blennies and Gobies and they are fine with it.
My Favorite starfish ever, would be a Blur Linckia!

there is also a harlequin starfish that look pretty cool and are said to be reef safe. I would NOT recommend linckias though.

My linkia ate all my sponges and died after 6 months...

Yeah, I would do a Linckia In a reef myself, they look good in a FOWLR.

Yes...Yes, that is a good place as well.Maybe they should stay in the ocean...
