I agree with the 1 mp40 or 2 mp10s. If your return pump gives decent flow, the mp40 should be plenty.

2x mp10. I have that in my 75g. Love it! The two working together creates great random and variable flow.

I would think if you plan on putting it on the back (one side or the other of the overflow) I would do an MP10 on each side. If you are willing to put it on the side of the tank to provide left to right flow, then an MP40. I have 2 MP10s, one on each side of the overflow in a 60g cube, because I did not want to be able to see the power cords and pump motors on the side of my tank.

You will have plenty of flow either way. However, with two units, you are in a better position to address low flow spots caused by different aquascape features.

I have a 60g Cube with a MP40 and a MP10 on it. The MP40 was probably adequate, but with LED the shimmer was almost too much. So moved the MP40 down further added MP10 and placed higher for surface agitation. Works well for me.

I like my 2 mp10s because of how they work together wirelessly to create a lot of varying flow patterns and directions. Rule of thumb is that it is better to have multiple smaller pumps than one big pump.

I have 2 mp-10's on my 76 gallon, more than enough flow no regrets here.

While one mp40 may be enough flow going by the numbers, it may be tough to have just one hit all dead spots, or you may have to crank it up to where it may be blasting sand or what corals are closest.
I would go 2xmp10's.
