Thanks that blasto has been growing like crazy lately. I have been target feeding and sometimes the polyps swell up to almost half dollar size. I bought it from divers den 4 or 5 months ago and it has easily doubled in size since then.

You are also comparing almost fully deflated to inflated. The colors can look drastically different that way, more commonly more colorful when not fully inflated.
Hint: Go see how many online vendors have pictures almost exclusively of acans that are semi irritated and not fully inflated... ;)

I think there's going to be more of this than even before since the introduction of LED's. Ive seen LEDs gradually morph an orange coral into a goldish yellow one, not just visually via different lighting schemes, I mean actuall morphing; meaning you take the coral out of the tank in normal lights and the thing still looks yellow. So it'd make sense that it could happen in reverse, ESPECIALLY seeing how many vendors are using LED's to amp up the colors for there FS pics.

I really dont think it has anything to do with LEDs as all pictures were taken under the same light

I like the new color alot better! It almost looks as if you put it under even lower light it may produce even more colors, I have had that happen quite a few times!

I wasnt suggesting that you had them under them, I was speaking generally, but what kind of lights were they kept under before they came to you?
