Baby serpent star found in sump during WC

While doing my waterchange today, I found a tiny serpent starfish. It was about 1" long from tip to tip. I suppose that this would not be unusual to anyone who houses them in their DT. It's strange to me though because
1) I do not have any.
2) The only thing I have introduced to my DT in the past 2 months were two pep shrimp, 10 snails, and a lawnmower blennie.

Yeah, I did a little reading up on them and decided to put him in my DT. Hopefully he'll make it.

sure its a serpent and not a micro brittle star? I have tons of micro brittles but have never put any in my tank, they hitchhiked in.

Going by how it looked and what I read, I believe it to be a serpant star
