I'm currently in the process of building a frag system and then later down the road (6-12 months) I'll be adding a ~450 gallon DT. In the interim I'm looking to get my frag system up and letting the system mature some before adding the DT to the loop. Frag system is 140 gallons, refugium is 90 gallon, mangrove garden (not yet built) will be ~40 gallons, and sump will maintain roughly 90 gallons but has capacity of ~125 gallons.

Adding those numbers up I'll have a ~350 gallon system now and an 800 gallon system in the near future. With those numbers in mind what does everyone think would be some other equipment to consider that is scalable for the future system? I'll be keeping it mainly SPS (prolly 60-70%)! :wildone:

Right now I have following:
- Apex System w/ all the bells and whistles
- 3 X 300 Watt Heaters
- 2 X ReeFlo Hybrids
- LMIII for automatic water changes and top off of lime water
- BM T01 for dosing of calcium/alk/mag
- MH/T5 fixture (http://www.aquacave.com/IceCap-48-Reef-Illuminations-2-x-250W-Metal-Halide-T5-LED-Aquarium-Lght-Fixture-P2633C259.aspx) with 2X54 watt blue plus T5s and 2X250 watt DE Phoenix 14ks to cover half of frag system.
- Vertex RO/DI system (http://premiumaquatics.com/aquatic-supplies/VX-RO-PD100.html)
- 2 X Brute 44s for Top off and saltwater
- Octopus SRO 3000 Internal (Will add second skimmer once system is up and running)

Equipment I'll purchase once water is in system:
- EcoTech Radion to cover 1/4 of frag tank (Would like to play with as this is what I'd like to cover DT)
- Apollo Reef LED dimmable fixtur (http://apolloreefled.com/shop/solarblast-dimable/)e to cover the last 1/4 of frag tank
- 2XMP40s for frag tank

I guess right now I'm stuck on what additional equipment I should go ahead and get. I was thinking just add a couple reactors to the picture and run GFO and Carbon and I should be good for the future. (2 X Avast Reactors (http://www.avastmarine.com/ssc/do/product/youbuilt/MR-10-18-Kit))

So big question....Looking at the current configuration what else would you add to the current system that is scalable?

(I know I'll likely be looking at calcium reactor but would like to stick to two-part right now and a chiller should not be needed because of the ambient room temperature and the use of LEDs and hopes to make it fully LED in the future.)
