What would you say a fair price for a large frag of oregon tort would be?

A long branch from an old large colony, a frag about 3/4-1" across at the base, 4 inches long with 3 branches

Neither I nor the store want to be unfair to each other, but no one is looking to get rich. Neither of us have the experience with selling frags of this coral this large.

Thanks for the help.

I'd say thats retail price. If you're on the secondary market, like $150-175

I paid $35 for a 1 branch 1 inch frag, which I think is the going rate. So, $35 x 4 inches x 3 branches. You get the point. So, Tooth's figures are reasonable and Buckeye is the hook up price ;)

Internet market price may be much higher than local.

For example,
Our local LFS has had colonies of ORA red planet grown by a local, I'm talking bigger than your hand colonies, and they could not get $100 for them.

Those are the numbers I was looking to hear. Glad to hear others believe internet pricing can be out of line.

I was able to sell some 2"+ multi branch frags at a frag swap for $80 each.

Someone Local to me told me $80 for an inch frag. But I found a deal for $30 for a 2 inch frag...I cant complain :)

$150-200 to end buyer, $100-120 would be fair for the lfs.

Even local prices for Oregon will stay high bc it grows so slow..
