Blue Linkia Starfish Question

I was thinking about adding this to my 34 gallon red sea max tank. Its a thriving reef tank, everything is doing fantastic, I was just curious as to how hardy these stars are and if any special care is required before purchasing.

I'm not 100% positive, but I think they are not recommended for tanks less than 100 gal. I'm sure someone else will chime in.

The linckia starfish doesn't really do all that well in captivity from everything that I've read. How long has your tank been up and running?

About 6 months, i had kinda heard the same thing that they are more difficult to keep, that's why I wanted to get some opinions on here.

You don't have the setup for it. It will wither away over the course of 3-6 months.

A few hundred gallons with lots of live rock that is well established is the place for a linkia.
