hello everyone I have a 12g jbj nano cube with a skimmer and power filter with LR I have a percula clownfish and a button polyp I am have green algae growing pretty fast I was thinking of getting 10 snail and 10 hermits to start getting rid of the algae will this be to much of a bioload on my tank

They don't add much if anything to the bio-load, but 10 hermits are too many for your sized tank. Start with 3, you can add a couple more later if needed. 10 snails are fine, a mix of a few different varieties is best.

Ten snails sounds like a lot in a 12 gallon tank. I think you might be better off starting with 3 or 4 grazing snails and see how they do for awhile. You can always add more if needed. As far as hermits crabs go, one scarlet hermit would be more than enough IMO.
