Since day one (3 weeks ago) this red rhodactis always looked like this in the pic. Is this normal or is it dying/bleaching? I don't have any test kits so I cannot provide any water specs. He's currently at the bottom of my tank with medium- low flow. The lighting consists of 2-175w MH and 2-48w flour. Tank is 4x2x2 125 gal. Temp and SpG is ok. Nothing is around it to physically harm it. Just need some input. Thanks.

It seems like it is some type of bleaching. It looks like its just the bottom ones so maybe they are not getting enough light down there.

Normal. The base is blue while the bumps are brownish/maroonish.

I agree.

Maybe chisel the side/bottom ones off, if you want them to color up more, maybe just tilt it too, to expose the slightly bleached ones.
