I am going out of town for the next 10 days. You know what that means it’s time for Squshi to molt. Grrrrrrrrrrrr!!!! The good thing is my wife is pregnant and only planning to join me for the first leg of my cross country trip. We’re going to Disneyland! Then she’ll be home. I am going to make up a reserve of salt water for a water change. This way worst case she can just swap out water. The tank is stable and the perms don’t move much. But still whenever you leave that’s when things can happen. I will be driving with a buddy back from Cali and much of that drive will be nonstop enjoying the sights of this great country of ours. Yet in the back of my mind I will be thinking “he just had to molt now”.
Yes I have someone staying at the house to watch the cat but the tank is hands off! I don’t trust people with my tanks. Lol I go so far as to store my frozen food in the locked deep freeze and the dry foods locked in my truck this way I know the tank will not be over fed!
