Clownfish question

Had two clownfish...bigger one died...left with just the one....can I add another without any issues??? Will they pair?

i believe the best way to do it is to add a small juvenile .

you can add another but make it the smallest you can find. usually with clowns the bigger is a female that has morphed from a male. I just did the same 2 weeks ago when my male died. there may be a little bickering at first. it should not last long. I had a small clip on net tank handy just in case.

I do have a small clip on breeder net. The one clown i havr left is only about 1.5 inches...going to need to find a itty bitty one

being that small it may not make a problem getting another but I would not wait too long before the remaining 1 will not accept another clown in the tank
