Best Scorpion for a 34 gallon cube.

I would like to include a scorpion or small lion in my 34 gallon cube. Other tank mates Include a golden dwarf moray, fairly flasher wrasse, and a firefish.

i have a cockatoo wasp. awsome addition. not the most colorful. very active. waddles everywhere other than that great fish.

Leaf fish...that's what I did in my 34 gallon.

My only main hesitation about a leaf as I have found them to be the hardest to wean from live. So I would preferably like to choose a species that will except live more readily, this isn't a huge deal, but weekly trips to get ghost shrimp can add up

If you are willing to drop the cash, a rhinopias would make a good addition for a dedicated system if you aquascape it right

A Rhino will eat the heck out of wrasse (depending on its size) and the firefish. Also, a 34 gal is too tight for a Rhino, IMHO/IME...esp. with as little open substrate as the OP's setup has.

I'd suspect that a leaf scorp would possibly suffer from food competition and as mentioned, they're not the easiest to wean.

Waspfish would be a great addition...the cockatoo is my fave by far, altho a red-fin would be a bit more showy, and is also a great fish IME.

You could go with a small-species scorp such as Scorpaenodes litoralis, S. carribaeus, etc.

A dwarf lion would be OK...D. biocellatus might be the best fit.

I'll take a look at those, know of any good online retailers for scorps/biocellulatus I have been looking at my normal ones and coming up empty btw tank Dimensions are 20.5x18x22
