I simply overdid it. Alk/calcium demand had skyrocketed, and I've been working with different dosing regimens, to include kalk and 2 part in different variations and combinations. Mag had always been steady at 1350. Well, one day it went down to 1220. Maybe a testing error or true drop, who knows. Anyway, believing it was time to do mag supplements to compliment the alk/cal supplements, I started dosing mag. Well, now it's persistently above 1400 even though I've stopped dosing mag for a week, 1440 last time I checked. Is this a problem?

BTW, alk is 8-9 dkh, calcium 440, if it makes a difference.

Thanks!!

Yeah, I stopped about a week ago. The Mag just kinda drifts down quite slowly, and I have a feeling it will take a while before it goes down to a more desirable range. I was just wondering if it was a problem at that level, and if so I would have to do large water changes to get it down faster.
