Was wondering if anyone had an idea for the thickness to use for acrylic 10 gallon sump. Also a return pump/overflow box as well. Thanks!

1/4'' min. 3/8'' would be my choice.

You might try glass.. its alot cheaper than acrylic and very easy to build your own tank.. I just completed a 60gal custom built frag tank. I have never built a tank before but I just did and it was surprisingly easy. A ten gallon could be built out of 1/8 glass and cost less than $20. My 36x24x18 frag tank cost $85 in materials to build.

Just because you use 3/8 material does not mean the tank will not fail.

A tank that size could be made of 1/8'' material and hold water for years.
If it is properly built
