I currently updated the firmware to version 4.12L_2A12. Before the update, I was having the apex send me alarms if power was lost to the base unit. Occasionally, the unit would send me an alarm saying power was lost to the EB8. There is no reason I can find for this to happening. Now since the update, my Apex sends me "Alarm Statement: If Power Apex Off 003 Then ON" about every 20 minutes or so. It's getting pretty annoying having to delete 40+ emails I get from this faulty message.... Please help.

This is the rest of the power message:

"Power Failed: Mar 04 2012 22:13:45
Power Restored: None
Power OK: EB8_3 (0 Days 12:00 - 7.4 Amps)"

Power is on and the apex is working, so what's the deal with this message?

Check the option under Misc for supplemental power. If you don't have 12v supplemental power, that needs to be off.

Alright, I will check that when I get home. Have you experienced that before?

Yes. The key is your statement "If Power Apex OFF...". That 'apex' power 'port' is the 12v supplemental power port. You're testing for power there and there probably isn't any. If you also have that option enabled, then that's almost certainly the problem. If you had that option disabled and still had the program statement there testing for it, I'm pretty sure nothing happens.

Without supplemental power, you should only be testing the EB8's for power...If Power EB8_3 OFF 000 Then ON.

The setting Alan is talking about is called Power Monitor, and is found on the Misc Setup page.
