Hello!

I ask the all mighty RC members on this one. What would be the easiest size to deal with at work. It has to be on my work desk? Ideally all in one. No hang on back. Less hassle possible?

Thanks!

I have an 8 gallon Innovative Marine Nuvo aquarium on my desk at work. It fits perfectly and I am happy with it.

How big is your desk? I've got a fairly good sized desk (30" x 48") and enough room to put a 24 gallon aquapod. I've got a MH pendant hanging from the ceiling that doubles as a desk lamp. Go big, you'll love it. And, by the way, sitting on your desk you'll give it the daily attention needed to make it look great. I've got 4 tanks and my office tank is by far the best condition.

Good luck,

mark

Pico is definitely the way to go, the easiest to maintain from a water change and glass cleaning perspective. It would take too much time messing with a bigger tank IMO. I have a 3g in my office, I have a "office tank on a whim" thread floating around here somewhere if you want to dig into it more.

I do a 1 gallon water change and chang out the filter pad once a week. I use a magnet cleaner on the glass every few days. That is pretty much it. For stocking I have.

-Yasha Goby & Randall's pistol shrimp
-Helfrichi Firefish
-4 sexy shrimp
-A few zoa frags I just put in.
