whats wrong with my paly

past few days they have been closed, not been straight up kinda of falling over and just a lil bit ago they started looking like this

what would make them do this all of a sudden? anything i should do?

Do you have anything nipping at it? What are your water parameters? Are you adding any additional Alk, Calc, Mag?

I raised my Alk too quick one time and mine closed up for 2-3 days.

nitrate & nitrite 0, ammonia 0, ph 7.8, cal 440( which i was dosing about 2 weeks ago to get there) no test kits for alk or mag yet

Try raising them a little in the tank? Some of my zoas were closed for 2 weeks until I got them better light. I know it sounds backwards, but that is what happened. Maybe it was a chemical problem fromt the other frags. Who knows.

Whenever I buy Zoas or Palys, I dip them, and then really EXAMINE them with a toothpick and tweezers. I can't tell you how many crazy weird hitchhikers I've found on them, like zoa spiders and stuff. I don't see any obvious pests in the pic you have, but they could be weak from a zoa spider munching on it.
