I have a Vertex Alpha 250 and I notice that when I feed any food thats oily (such as mysis, cyclopeeze, brine, etc), skimming stops for around 5-6 hours each feeding.
I have read some people feed their corals/fish 3-4 times a day. I was just wondering if they use some way to keep their skimmer going and how to get rid of the oil thats making my skimmer go limp, because thats basically stopping my skimmer for the entire day if I feed 3-4 times a day.
