Hey Sallylightfoot,

I am planning in the real near future to migrate from Colorado to Oregon in the Eugene area. As of now I dont know of to many reefers in Oregon. I currently own a 55 gallon reef tank with lots of little critters a about 6 small fish. My Astrea Snails are giving me babies all still tiny specks, 1 large size bristle worm and a small hand full of the others. I currently volunteer at the Aquarium in Denver, I have been at Ocean Journey before it opened and I do plan in the future to build a bigger tank or buy one which ever comes first! I'm looking to the 200 to 350 gallon tank size.

I hope you have a good time with your reef!

I live in Salem. There is a Portland reefkeepers society but I don't know when it meets, I'll ask a guy at my work who goes...

Check out Upscales in Tualitin for liverock, I'd say they are pretty much the best general saltwater/reef store.

Here in Medford Nui Kai (LFS) has live rock for $3.99lb they just received three boxes (Walt Smith) last week and a lady broke down her Reef Tank and that rock was still $3.99lb, I picked up this cool piece (pic attached below) large, with natural holes and it only weighed 5lbs.
When buying live rock by the lb. every $'s count, can add up pretty quick.
