Help getting fragging zoa off disk

It's been difficult trying to cut the disk to get a piece under the polyp... Thing's literally hard as a rock. Could someone post pics or vid or inform me their way of getting under there?

im a little confused, but the best way to detach zoas are to use a razor and slice underneath them, or use a bone cutter to make the process a little easier if they are on rock

its nearly impossible without damaging the polyps itself. I normally put the disk on some LR and allow it to grow off.

I use tile snips to cut the disk, and a razor to cut the zoa along the break. Then glue the piece to a new plug.
