Liveacquaria order came, weird?

Ordered a blue power tang (last "weeks special"), flame angel and a lawnmower blemmy. Shipped last night, came today and are now in my quarantine tank. Fish look great.

What was weird though, is another blemmy was in the bag with the lawnmower, and it was dead? I mean more than 12 hours dead, it had to be. Was this done on purpose or something? My first blemmy so I am not sure if they ship better like this or what lol

I vote bad weekend...my order came today and they goofed it...missing shrimp and one of the anthias girls might be a he-she

That is really weird they did that. Maybe a distracted employee that saw the dead blenny in their tank removed it, and while being distracted put in the same container/bag with yours.

Yeah the blue powder tang is absolutely gorgeous, and for 29 dollars I will definitely not complain!!!

I should of taken a picture....it freaked me out because I saw the alive blemmy in its bag. Then went to open the other bags. Came back and saw the dead one and was like NO WAY!! picked it up smelled it, and thought how the heck did this thing die that fast...then saw the other one swimming around...lol

GODFATHER PART 1 IS CORRECT! It's like the 3 fish I ordered murdered a 4th, tried to hide the corpse, and then it "fell out of car trunk" haha

As part of an order, I had ordered a DD trio of electric orange leg hermit crabs. Well when I got the order there were three little bags of water, no crabs to be found. I think someone got distracted when they were filling my order :D

LA fixed it no problem, but it was and is still funny. I am glad the rest of your fish were OK. Maybe the poor dead fish was stuck to the bottom of a net that was used to catch your blenny?

honestly...I have had many dead fish come from DD. they are top notch and take care of it, but still I feel the level of service has dropped. even in the last few months.

Just to let you know it is a blenny not a blemmy. Not trying to be a jerk .I thought you just mispelled it but then you did it a couple more times. I can see how you could have misheard that and started calling it that. Sounds almost exactly the same.

Lawnmower blennies are great fish. Not much color but they make it up with personality.
I just bought a starrie blennie and they are very similar.

yeah I ordered from them as well 12 days ago...a few hermints and a diamond gobie did not ship. so I called them and they said oh it on back order...ok why did I not know...oh I don't know. ....so when is it going to ship? can I select a day so i will be home as I live in wyoming and it freezing out...NO they will just ship it. we don't know when just watch your email we will send it out the night it ship and you will get it the next day....

so looked on there website a few days later back in stock no email no call nothing...still no fish. it;s my first experience with LA...must say I had better CS from saltwaterfish.com a few years ago when i ordered from them...

so maybe there are going down hill??
not to complain just telling my story.

They have weird issues sometimes. I ordered a pederson cleaner shrimp from divers den once and I got the package but there was just a bag with water in it. No shrimp, no shrimp parts, not even the shell as if it had died. Just plain SW. Of course they gave me my money back but they admitted they have no idea what happened.

the living blenny is now dead. I figured it was hit or miss. I cannot imagine riding shot gun to a dead corpse in a small bag for 8-10 hours....angel and tang are doing great in quarantine (that was the intent of the purchase anyway). I threw the blenny in with the order just for fun. Sucks though. This is the first salt fish I have lost (lost a few inverts but not a fish). Nothing I could really do in this case I guess....it went straight into quarantine. little thing was just not strong enough. :(

I ordered some fish last week from live aquaria A white cheek tang , a powder blue tang and 6 blue reef chromas, I got a lutenate tang , and a blond naso tang and I got the 6 blue reef chromas , Ive ordered from them dozens of times and this is the first time that this has happened ,I called them and the sent out the correct ones the next day , so I got 2 fish for free, Its a good thing I had A big tank that could handle them , If you had a small tank you might be in trouble with some extra fish .

Same thing happened to me 3 weeks ago. I made a thread on here and a manager from LA contacted me and made it more than correct. Try contacting a manager to express your concerns.
