Hey gang. I have a male and a female meleagris leopard and I want to remove the female. The male just chases her. No interesting pair behavior. Just keeping her from going male as far as I can see. I bought them at the same time as undifferentiated Juvis about two years ago. I'm tired of watching the chasing and I'd rather devote the bioload to something else.

So, I was thinking of scooping her out of the sand. I know where she sleeps. Sounds a bit hair raising but I think I'll try it. Has anyone done this? Did it work? What did you use for scooping?

Thanks. Small.

Ive done it. Do it when she is aslep if possible and she will never even barely wake up. Moved mine no problems and woke up in different tank.
