DIY Fuge Light

I'm looking for a cheap but effective DIY fuge light. Does anyone have any ideas? It would be nice to have something that is fairly energy efficient and replacement bulbs can be purchased at the Depot or somewhere local.

I'll be growing mainly chaeto in the sump.

Any ideas? Thanks in advance!

Clamp light and CFL. cheap. And so easy a 3 year old could do it. Use a 4300k-6500k bulb and your cheato will grow like a weed. I throw a gallon zip lock bag full away every week.

and if you want to but an LED bulb in there to save even more $$ you can do that too.
I made a 5 Cree DIY LED for my sump. cost was around 50 bucks if I remember right. more the the clamp on light...but I wanted to get the hang of it b4 my DT light build.

Thanks for the responses guys. I went the CFL route. I was debating on LED, but the bulbs only saved a few watts over the CFL and they both have life spans of over 3 years.

BTW - I read your LED DIY post a few weeks back. Great stuff.
