I just hooked up a new DI filter canister and the media is coming out the output. I checked that the media bottle isn’t upside down and that the inlet and outlet are hooked up correctly. Do I need to let the media soak before using it or is my water pressure too high or something?

Don't know how I screwed up a two connection process anyone have any ideas lol??

isnt there a mesh filter at the top end? is that worn or faulty? I hope you get it sorted out bud, good luck I'm sure it is a minor issue anyhow.

Regards

Mike

Yes there's some mesh on the top and bottom. The media seems to be comming from the bottom more than the top.

The canister was completely full top to bottom was is maybe just over filled? It's a few inches from the top now but continues to seep out.

Sorry for the bad pix its a camera phone.

Thanks shifty I'll check back with the LFS I bought it from. They sell them loose with no box or brand name must have forgotten to include that piece. :eek1:

If you need to get a new DI Cartridge, I think BRS has them for <$10.

Looks like the foam pad is missing. Did you pack the canister?
