Ok, maybe it's just me but I'm confused as heck about what the buttons on the Radion do. I know the manual has a description, but what the cycle button does isn't clear to me. I must be getting old ;)

Anyway, does tapping it switch from nautral -> artificial -> preset colors? Are the preset colors all the ones you have saved? How do you know which mode you are in?

Here's what I know, Blue LED is artificial, Green LED is Natural.

Hold middle one to switch between Natural and Artificial.

Hold all three to cycle lights off or on.

The graphic below explains the capacitive buttons on the top of the Radion fixture and how to operate them:

So I've seen the manual.... Does switching between the 'presets' only switch between what is in that diagram? So no option to switch to a custom preset? Also, how do you know which preset is selected? ...and if I raise or lower intensity while in artificial mode, does that stay raised or lowered relative to the entire cycle or only until it switches again? Also, if I switch to a preset while in artificial mode, how long will it stay on that preset? Indefinitely?

It would be nice to have an option to switch to a custom preset for an indefinite time, then switch back to the schedule when you want. My tank 'looks' better with a custom setting (say if I'm having a party and want to show off my tank) things don't look as pretty during all phases of the artificial mode, but needed for growth, etc.

I'm all for making things sleek and attractive, but not too thrilled with the lack of feedback from the units when selecting different modes. Everybody is on this 'touch, tap, and swipe' kick since tablets are taking off, but it's got to be intuitive. I shouldn't have to think and refer to a chart every time I want to make a change. Intuitive user interfaces go a loooong way in increasing sales of an already good product.
