Hi, i'm looking to start up a 75g reef tank, I found one used locally for 260 with stand canopy and a 4-bulb tek light. the bulbs on the tek light are old and need replacing ( the owner says this ). I was wondering what I could keep with the 4-bulb. And what types of bulbs i should look into for replacements.

Browserz, I can tell you that a 36" four bulb Tek setup over a 50 gallon tank allowed me to keep Montiporas and Pavona without any trouble. The purple ones lost some color, but extension and growth were good. You'll get maximum use from your light fixture if you avoid actinic bulbs. The actinics have very low PAR compared to 50/50s or Geisemann Aquablues.
