Hello - what is the difference between:

12" Blue 1x72W AquaIllumination Modular LED Light System - Black Finish (AI-12B-K) and AI Sol Blue Module Only - Black Finish (AI-SL1001-K)?

The first one is the entire kit - controller, mounting rail, and module. The second one you're looking at is the module only.
