Never ending poop

It seems like everytime I look in my tank (ALL the time ) my hippo tang is pooping! It's long stringy poop too, is this normal?! He IS a little piggy during feeding but I mean this is crazy! I tried to google it but no luck

Yes. They are poop machines. They require lots of grazing material and lots of room.

Poop is good. It feeds the coral, CUC, etc...Tangs are quite the pigs and if they eat, they poop!

Pooping is fine, but long stringey poop is not. It's an indication of internal parasite that requires treatment. I would start with praziproin a QT. do two rounds of it, each for 5 days, and see how it looks.
