I currently have a 48gl tank with 2 fasle percs and a royal gramma, blue tuxedo urchin and i am wondering what kind of active fish there are that would work well with this setup. I just want something that swims alot instead of kind of just picking a spot and hosting there. I do have corals so it must be reef safe

the sixline wrasse will pick on the royal gramma allot. He can maybe go with 2 anthias or if its a wrasse, maybe something like a flasher or carpenter........... i find the sixlines are a bit too aggressive. Never want to see one of those again.

i was going to say chromis but everyone says they usually dwindle down to one.

I have a 3 line damsel in my 20 gallon tank along with 2 ocellaris clowns. I bought it small to begin with, but so far they've been getting along swimmingly. (the clowns do let the damsel know what's up every now & then) It's a cool mix of colors... FWIW.

those are nice, i have two 4 stripe in another tank and actually they are not that aggressive as what people claim. Got 3 azure damsels for my friends 70gal and it really bought color to it. I have three 1" yellowtail damsels with a kole tang, pair false clowns and a tamato in a 70gal and they swim all over the tank

Any of the flasher wrasses and/or a Helfrich's firefish

threadfin anthias are pretty active and 1 would do fine in a 50g display

I would stay away from the 3 or 4 line damsels. I had two in my tank and they would terrorize my clowns. The clowns would not move more then 6 inches from their anemone and the damsels would constantly try to chase them away from it. I got rid of them today and the clowns swim all around the tank and seem much happier.

I suggest a scooter blenny (dragonette). They are always around the bottom of the tank around and around the tank never stopping. I got one several months ago and it is thriving even though I have very few (if any) pods in the tank. Mine takes frozen, flaked and pellet food with ease. Try to find tank raised and get the biggest they have (meaning it is eating well).
It is the most interesting fish I have by far.
