Can you give us some more background information? It will help us give you meaningful advice if we know basics, like:

-What sort of tank is this sump going to support? (size, style, type of livestock, bioload, etc)
-What sort of equipment do you plan on running in it?
-What sort of flow rate do you plan on having through it?
-Going in a stand or will be freestanding on it's own?

And so on...

will support a marineland dd 250 gallon mixed reef.
want to put skimmer, heaters, carbon and gfo reactors in it.maybe chaeto or other plants
flow is up in the air yet

will be freestanding in fish room

If you have the room for it, a 300 gallon Rubbermaid stock tank makes a great sump. One guy near me had two 300 gallon Rubbermaid livestock watering containers in his basement for his 265 gallon display reef tank in the living room above. I've seen wholesaler's set ups for reef or tropical fish set up with dozens of these starting at 50 gallons. I have had a few of the Rubbermaid units, and once came across a 1500 and a couple 1200's out of a similar material, that had been used in a frozen food factory.
