OK so we just bought an Atlantic Anenome and with the current we have its having a hard time settling, question is can I handle these? how? by the foot? will they sting?

try turning off the powerheads for a little while...this will allow the anemone to settle and hopefully grab a hold of something with its foot.

You can handle the anemone before it attaches, and yes it can sting you.

It doesn't sting IMO, it does grab ahold though. (sticky) No worries...

Turning off the powerheads for a little awhile is a great idea... (mentioned above) Give it a little time to settle down.

I agree to turn off your powerheads. Its not recommended to handle them after it has placed its footing. So once its in place leave it alone and let its do its thing unless you see signs of distress.

And yes they can sting. I do beleive this is a condy anemone...if im correct.
