Hi! What would u recomenc to light a pico tank 24"x8" x 8". Must be able to sustaintain sps and clams. I like more of a blue look and dimming would be great.

With all the led info out there, im a bit overwhelmed

Thanks!

i always recommend CREE leds, as do most people on here. especially for a tank your size when the cost difference is minimal. you are going to want a 2:1 blue to white ratio. I would recommend 10 cree XT-E royal blue and 5 CREE XP-G warm white. I would arrange them into 5 clusters of 3 (1 white and 2 blue led's per cluster), spaced evenly in a line across the tank. if the fixture is going to be close to the water than optics are not necessary. i would use meanwell dimmable drivers.

if money is not an issue you might want to do 6 clusters (18 LED's), just to be safe.
