Hi,

I have a zooanthid colony that started to retract a bit. The past few days I noticed some were starting to shrivel and detach from the rocks. Today I found some kind of worm with a ring of bristles on its mouth reach to the top of a closed polyp and take a bite. It's whitish in color and doesn't seem to have bristles on the side. It doesn't look like a bristleworm that I've seen before. What is the best treatment?

Thanks,

Mike

I would guess a CoralRx or revive type coral dip would may help. But just a guess without a positive ID on the worm.

Google peanut worm and see if that's it.
