have no sugguestions other than throw him and watch carefully

not many seem to be reef safe and it they r the move stuff and knock it over. just my opinion. I haven't had luck with stars in reeefs even reef safe ones

yeah he came with a tank set up i bought

It's an Echinaster species. It primarily feeds on detritus and alga. However, in a tank it will pose a treat to ornamental clams and sponges.
