Hi everyone

I have a 180 gallons reef tank with sps mainly. I have 1 overflow with a skimmer and i am about to relacing my returning pump a aquamedic 3500 since it has been failing . Sometimes it doesnt start running after i switch it off. Which one would you advise as a resistant effcient quiet pump. Eheim 1262 ? Aquabee ? Sicca ? Thanks

You want an internal pump only? If u decide to go external, I recommend reeflo.

Eheim 1262 gets my vote......for internal...no vote for external.....

An ATB 1500 or 1800 or an Eheim 1262 would be my choices

Yes, a 1262 seems to be perfect flow if you are shooting for the 3-5x turnover rate for sump returns as many of us do.
I've had a number of Eheim returns on various tanks including 1262's on 2x180's and 2x150's, they are very quiet, run forever, very low maintenance.
