Bubbles Help

So I have my protein skimmer somewhat close to my out pump in my refugium. It is a small refugium so I can not place it anywhere else. Any ideas how to eliminate the small bubbles going into the tank? Thank you.

Put a small sponge end cap on your return. it. It will filter out dirt and should stop bubbles.

You mean the output into the tank? Never heard of a sponge end cap?

No, I put a spong end cap on me return pump going in. Then I use just the tubing for the return.

Can not do that exactly, it will not help because the bubbles are coming from my protein skimmer which is right next to the pump. I have no room. I was thinking maybe a sponge between them.
