I couldn't see clearly (the picture is way too blue, blurry and you didn't give any description of the shrimp or what kind of giant clams you have) what the shrimp looks like but most likely an Anchistus. My guess would be an Anchistus miersi which is common forming symbiotic relationship with giant clams. The little guy is harmless. Enjoy!

It's an awesome symbiotic clam shrimp. It lives in there and is harmless to the clam. Sweet hitchhiker!

He looks really cool. He's ninja fast so he's hard to
Photograph. Was worried it was a lobster that would eat the clam. Thanks!!

There are parasitic shrimps (and crabs) using giant clams as host so I don't want to mislead you to believe it's harmless until we have a positive ID. Can you describe the shrimp? Does it have 2 claws with one bigger than the other? Is the shrimp overall white with lots of red or blue spots throughout the body? Does it look similar to the followings?

OK. I am almost certain it's either an Anchistus or Paranchistus. If it has blue spots like the following, it's a Paranchistus armatus:

Either way, he's no harm to the clam. The shrimp live its entire life inside the clam (siphons or mantle) and will die if removed from the host.
