Hi All,
Living in Bangkok, I do not have as many options as you guys in terms of T5's; and brand names such as giesemann carry heavy import duties, making them pretty expensive!
So I am wondering; have folks had any sucess with cheaper, shall we say "non brand name" units?
I am wondering, is it the case with brand names units that you are paying for cutting edge technology, which is say only 5-10% better than the rest? Obviously, there are things such as build quality / quality of materials / fancy timers / dimming modes / etc. - but in terms of the actual light output, is the difference that phenominal?
With this in mind, please post your non-brand name T5 set ups and experiences - good or bad.
