Got this from a friend im new at corals but this thing is beautiful! Neon green flowers almost that are extended by brown tentacles? Sorry if this sounds stupid not sure what it is though. Sorry the pic isnt the best and serves it no justice!

Figured out it is a flower pot coral...hard to keep any suggestions?

Yep, it's a goniopora. Hv to have lots of phytoplankton like D.T's. They are not easy to keep, but beautiful.
Turn off current for about 45 min when you feed phyto.

Are you sure it's goniopora? It looks really similar to my Alveopora.

I have both in my tank, and the goni's polyps are definitely not like the ones in the picture given. I'm gonna say Alveopora.

Much easier to keep than Goniopora though, so you are looking better than you thought!

It kind of looks like an Alveopora. At my LFS and in Asia, they also call it the yo-yo coral. it's good to see a colony that is living in an aquarium because the 3 that I bought before was for rent only, they die in a month

Count the tentacles, Alveopora have 12, Goniopora have 24.
