Bristle worm maybe?

So I just found a really cool looking worm. It's orange with white bristles. It was hanging out near my hairy mushroom but wasn't doing anything to it. Anyone know what it could be and should I take it out? Thanks!

sounds like a bristle worm to me, but without a pic. it is hard to say. if it is a bristle worm, just leave it be
