I was thinking of adding a jbj 1600 wave maker to a 90 gal tank. I thought it might be too much flow, it is mainly a lps/ softy tank. It has a 1500 gph tunze now and it is almost too much. Is the jbj adjustable and does more than one pump run at the same time to make more thank 1600. The tunze is broken or needs a new impeller. Thanks for the opinions.

My LPS are doing fine in a 120 with about 4000gph of flow. None of them are in the direct stream of any powerheads. I think as long as you aren't blasting the coral directly they can handle more flow. Even "low-flow" areas of the reef put our tanks to shame.

I actually saw they had the combo on sale at Marine Depot and I'm interested in the opinions as well. I feel like I still need a little more flow, and I'd like to add some alternating currents.
