Is this RTN? Will it spread to other corals? should I toss this frag?

I won this frag at NERAC so I dont mind tossing it.

All parameters are good...

well after a little more research I guess it is STN...? It may have had it when I got it because I do seem to remember the base of the coral being white when I got it home...

I'd move this to the coral discussion forum, I think you'll get more help. this forum is for fish diseases.

ive had stn a few times and have just lefted the coral where it is. the secrit i have found is to keep you kh stable and the coral will then stop stn and then repair itself i have found this has worked for me every time. so if you see a coral starting to stn check your alk every day and adjust dosing to keep the kh stable.. if worst case then frag it back above the stn and still keep stables stable

My alkalinity has been pretty solid between 8.1 and 8.9... I am going to cut it back today... Lets see what happens>>>
