I recently set up my 75G tank and just bought about 15lbs of "CURED" live rock from my LFS. I've placed half in the DT, and the other half in the sump.
The live rock was out of the water for about an hour so I expect some die off, and most likely a miniature cycle.
I was wondering as to whether or not I should put a cocktail shrimp into the tank or not to "boost" the bacteria cultures and go through a full blown cycle (diatoms, and all), or if I should just test for ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate for the next week or two.
