I recently bought 2 Trinity Ho Light Model T5HO-36 for my tank, and I have a question I'd like help with...I run the Daylights from 11am-6pm daily, and the Dusk/Dawn lights from 7am to 1015pm daily and the Moonlights 24/7....but should I have the Moonlights go off for a period as well? Doesn't the tank need some period of time with total darkness, even if it was only for an hour or two? It just seems that even those Moonlights are pretty bright when run with both sets of those 36" T5's...

Thanks!

When I had moon lights (I switched to LED so I now use them to glow low with the phases of the moon) I turned them off for a 6 hour period nightly. The corals directly under the moon lights never closed up a night if I left mine on.

daylights-3pm-1030pm
dawn/dusk-12pm-1130pm
moonlights-1125pm-1205pm

my lights are always on for some sort of time.....like to go and look at the tank after midnight with leds.....great polyp extension and my blue-eyed cardinals are very active in the water column.......
