What type media are you using and any particuler reason why? I am using CS ARM and not sure if this is top quality or not?

Why do you feel it is lacking quality?

ARM. Been using it for years. It's cheaper and seems just as effective.

I have gone cheaper with negative results.

Not that I feel that it's lacking in quaility but noticed the other day the media looks like its turning to mush. Unit has been setup for 4 months and I have my C02 come on at 6.95ph and shutoff at 6.80ph. PH probe is 4 months old and I check calibration every month. I am using the extra large coarse ARM. My Alk stay at 11-12kh and my Calcium around 420-440. Mag is at about 1300.
